Rev Up Your Sex Life with Vaginal Rejuvenation

If you’re struggling with vaginal dryness or other issues that make sex unpleasant, you should know that you’re not alone. Aging affects more than your outward appearance, and some of the normal processes of aging can affect your intimate life, too.

At Soulage Wellness & Aesthetic Center, our team of experts offers several innovative, technologically advanced laser procedures that can help with issues ranging from toenail fungus to vaginal laxity and dryness. The Juliet Laser is specially designed to improve feminine health, and it may change your life.

Aging and problems with sex

Menopause can cause many changes. As your hormones change, you may experience an extreme change in your libido. If this is the case, using lubricants may not be enough to help.

Furthermore, childbirth, menopause, and aging can all cause a condition called vaginal atrophy. Some of the symptoms include:

Vaginal rejuvenation can help reduce those symptoms and may help restore your interest in sex and your ability to enjoy physical intimacy. All of these benefits may improve your life, and, as an added bonus, may help improve your relationship with your partner.

What to expect with vaginal rejuvenation

At Soulage Wellness & Aesthetic Center, we offer a noninvasive, laser-based type of vaginal rejuvenation. It’s nonsurgical, it’s gentle, and the results will likely surprise you. The procedure takes place in our office, involves very little risk, and you don’t have to schedule any recovery time.

For vaginal rejuvenation, we use the fast and painless Juliet Laser. This laser delivers gentle energy to the vaginal tissues. More specifically, it targets the sublayers of your vaginal tissue to promote an increase in lubrication, elastin, collagen.

Patients generally don’t experience side effects, but for those who do, the symptoms can consist of light cramping, light discomfort, or light spotting. These side effects should not last more than a few days.  Following the treatment, you’ll be able to return to most of your normal activities. However, you shouldn’t have sex for about three days as your body heals.

If you’d like to learn more about the Juliet Laser to see if it may be able to help you, book an appointment online or over the phone with Soulage Wellness & Aesthetic Center today. We’ll be happy to answer your questions and discuss your specific issues.
